Day 1

Every day I’ll get you motivated, inspired and pumped up.

In my mind I’m always the best. Every time I go on court or I’m training in the gym I believe I am The best. I want to keep trying and trying and I know I’ll achieve my goals.

Never throw in the towel and give up. Just use it to wipe sweat.

You have to believe in yourself. It’s the only way forward.

It doesn’t matter if you win or lose. As long as you have done your best and don’t give up.

You have to fight to reach your dream. Sacrifice and work hard for it.

Forehands Tip 2

Tip – Racket drop.

Every player from beginner to pro have different racket drops and positions. Some players have the but of the racket facing down and some have the but of the racket facing forward.

Now you have turned your shoulders to the side you need to drop your racket down to the side of your body at waist height. The butt of the racket must be facing forward. keep the racket away from your body so when you are swinging forward to your contact point you will have a lot of space. Having a stable wrist position is crucial.

Week 2 Forehands

This week I will be giving you tips on your forehand.

There are many elements that make a great forehand and you have to break the shot down in to small parts.

Tip 1

Shoulder Turn.

The shoulder Turn is one of the most important elements to the groundstroke. Hold your racket in your favourite grip ( Eastern or Semi Western ) Place your non hitting hand on the throat of the racket and keep it there as long as possible as you turn and take your racket back. Rotating both shoulders to the side. It’s important to have good racket preparation and get your shoulders turned before the ball has bounced on your side.

Give it a go next time your on court.

3rd Tip – Ball Toss

A proper toss location is so crucial for your serves to consistently land in the service box on the other side, but tossing the ball in the same spot repeatedly is not that easy. You got to keep trying and trying and trying.

A lot of issues in your Tennis game can be improved with basic fixes. Here is Another good tip for your ball release.

Remember you can practice your ball toss when ever and where ever. In your room or in the street.

This is a Simple Tip for you to try.

Stand in your serve position. Grab a ball and put your Thumb on top and fingers underneath. Don’t grab it tight. Don’t release the ball. Just move your arm up and down. Keep your arm straight. do 10 repetitions.

Progression 1

Put a cone in front of your front foot. Throw the ball up and see if you can flip the cone over.

I must have thrown over a million Tennis balls in the air in 25 years. I have practiced and practiced.

A simple way to get a better ball placement is to put your racket in front of your front foot. Your aim is to get the ball to land on the strings. Keep your arm straight and hole the ball loosely. See how many times you can hit the racket.

Week 1 – Tips for your ball toss

Try this simple tip on your serve.

Importance of the ball release.

Practice all the time even when your not serving.

You can do this drill with a partner. Throw the Ball to your partner with the ball toss method. Keep a straight arm with a smooth Action. Release the ball out in front of your body. Getting the ball high above your head is crucial. Having a low ball toss will cause problems with your contact point.
